At humancentred.co.uk, I am committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information is processed when you visit the site and the choices available to you.

1. Information processed

Vercel processes ordinary hosting and security data such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic logs. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights provide aggregated performance and usage measurements.

Google Analytics 4 is not enabled. The site uses Vercel’s aggregated, cookie-free Web Analytics and performance measurements instead.

2. Password-protected work

When you unlock protected projects, the server verifies the submitted password and stores a strictly necessary, HttpOnly security cookie for seven days. The submitted password is not logged or retained. Confidential media is stored in a private Vercel Blob store and is served only after access is verified.

3. Cookies and local choices

The access cookie is necessary to provide the protected portfolio. No optional analytics cookies are currently used.

4. How information is used

Information is used to operate and secure the site, provide protected access, understand aggregate site usage, diagnose errors, and improve speed and usability. It is not sold and is not used for advertising on this site.

5. Service providers and retention

Vercel provides hosting, private Blob storage, Web Analytics, and Speed Insights. Vercel processes information under its own terms. Security logs and analytics data are retained only for the periods configured in those services; the protected-access cookie expires after seven days.

6. Your controls

You can clear cookies in your browser or contact me to ask about personal information associated with a direct enquiry.

7. Security and external links

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Links to third-party websites are governed by those sites’ privacy practices.

8. Changes and contact
